Prof. Jay Mitra

CHAIRMAN, Advisory Board

Prof Mitra has acted as the Head of the Scientific Committee on Entrepreneurship for the OECD’s (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) Centre for Entrepreneurship and the LEED (Local Economic and Employment) Programme at its Trento Centre and in Paris. He is a visiting scholar at the University of Luneburg, Germany, a Visiting Professor at University Externado de Colombia and has held similar positions at the Institute of Management Technology, India; the School of Management, Fudan University and the School of Public Policy at Jilin University, both in China; at Bologna University, Italy and EDHEC Business School, France.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in the UK. Jay Mitra also leads the International Entrepreneurship Forum (IEF), a unique network and forum for researchers, policymakers and business practitioners working on entrepreneurship, innovation and regional development issues. Educated at Presidency College, Calcutta University, Jadavpur University, both in Kolkata, India and at the University of Stirling, UK, Professor Mitra trained in the private sector in the UK, worked as a Principal Officer for local government also in the UK, specialising in economic and business development, and taught at three other universities before joining the University of Essex

Anita Amorighoye

Founder/CEO

Anita is a seasoned banker with over 18 years’ experience spanning various sectors of Corporate, Commercial and Retail Banking, and Enterprise Risk Management. She has gained experience in public-private co-operation and executed various developmental programmes driving gender-based initiatives. She holds an MSc.  Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the HEC Paris, a Chartered Banker MBA, Bangor University and a degree in Computer Science / Mathematics.

She is a member of the Chartered Banking Institute Scotland , the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria as well as the Nigerian Institute of Management. Anita serves on several other local and foreign boards that are entrepreneurial-centric. She is the co-founder / CEO of The Ayzer Center.

Toju Amorighoye

Director

Toju Amorighoye is a seasoned entrepreneur who has garnered over 25 years’ experience in various fields of endeavor spanning Technology, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas and Marine Logistics. He currently superintends an array of business relationships between his group of companies which includes Orbital Resources Limited, Crushstone Construction limited, Multi Support Systems UK limited and Ayzer Centre for Entrepreneurship and their varied and diverse clientele base.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration, a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration (upper Credit) and The Harvard Business School Certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials.

Dr. Busayo Ajayi

Director

Dr. Busayo Ajayi holds over 20years cognate experience in business, with the last 12years experience in academia focused on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship at the University of Essex, United Kingdom and is also the Rector, Ajayi Polytechnic, a foremost educational institution recently established in Ekiti State.

As a seasoned professional having over 13years experience as Principal Consultant at Bajwen Consultancy, UK; he has successfully used his proficiency in the financial, regulatory, operational, educational and entrepreneurial skills to turn information and ideas into workable results and specialised solutions. Dr. Ajayi is a Director at Forum for Sustainable Ventures and is the Founder of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Business School.

Stella Nnedinma Ayika

Director

Stella teaches, mentors and inspires young people to choose the world of entrepreneurship through project-based activities of starting their own businesses. she supports SMEs through joint training and research. Stella has gained experience from collaborative work in establishing innovation hubs in TVET institutions 2019 and the African Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production since 2011. Value is created in education when teachers continuously hone their skills, practice what they teach and constantly research.

Stella holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Technology, postgraduate diploma in education and Master of Science in Business administration (entrepreneurship option). While engaging over 900 learners yearly, Stella is passionate about harnessing a system that drives learners, SMEs and the society to understand gaps and create sustainable solutions.
