Prof. Jay Mitra

Prof. Jay Mitra Chairman Advisory Board

Prof Mitra has acted as the Head of the Scientific Committee on Entrepreneurship for the OECD’s (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) Centre for Entrepreneurship and the LEED (Local Economic and Employment) Programme at its Trento Centre and in Paris. He is a visiting scholar at the University of Luneburg, Germany, a Visiting Professor at University Externado de Colombia and has held similar positions at the Institute of Management Technology, India; the School of Management, Fudan University and the School of Public Policy at Jilin University, both in China; at Bologna University, Italy and EDHEC Business School, France. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in the UK. Jay Mitra also leads the International Entrepreneurship Forum (IEF), a unique network and forum for researchers, policymakers and business practitioners working on entrepreneurship, innovation and regional development issues. Educated at Presidency College, Calcutta University, Jadavpur University, both in Kolkata, India and at the University of Stirling, UK, Professor Mitra trained in the private sector in the UK, worked as a Principal Officer for local government also in the UK, specialising in economic and business development, and taught at three other universities before joining the University of Essex.

Toju Amorighoye

Toju Amorighoye – Director 

Toju Amorighoye is a seasoned entrepreneur who has garnered over 25 years’ experience in various fields of endeavour. With a career spanning through manufacturing, IT, public administration in the earlier part, he brings to ace his rich background of experience which is indispensable. As a Microsoft Certified Professional, he partook in the deployment of various innovative solutions to the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Farnborough UK, Bank Paribas, etc. He had a stint at the Niger Delta Development Commission as a Special Assistant to the Managing Director overseeing, coordinating and monitoring NDDC projects spread across the Niger Delta Region. Notable of his achievements here is the drawing up of the inaugural NDDC SERVICOM charter. He also worked closely with the consultants (GTZ of Germany) in the design of the Niger Delta Regional Masterplan. Toju holds an MBA from the Ambrose Alli University and holds a Higher Diploma in Business administration and Management Studies from the Federal Polytechnic, Idah. Additionally, he holds a certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials from HBX, Harvard Business School. Mr Amorighoye is the Chairman/CEO of Orbital Resources Limited; an innovative and forefront Consultancy firm with a major thrust of attracting International Investors to Nigeria/ Niger Delta Region and facilitating International funding for Local businesses in the Oil & Gas, Energy & Power Engineering and Construction Sectors of the economy. He also superintends business relationships with foreign technical partners and local clients, which includes Ametco Valves, UK; Ingersoll Rand UK; Indolizziz Marine Jakarta Indonesia; Hebei Seamless Pipes, China, etc.

Dr. Busayo Ajayi holds over 20years cognate experience in business, with the last 12years experience in academia focused on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship at the University of Essex, United Kingdom and is also the Rector, Ajayi Polytechnic, a foremost educational institution recently established in Ekiti State. Dr Ajayi, a Fellow of several professional bodies, trained and worked as an Accountant in Nigeria and the United Kingdom before he fully diversified into the business where he has distinguished himself as a diversified business consultant and a mercurial educator with rare managerial skills. As a seasoned professional having over 13years experience as Principal Consultant at Bajwen Consultancy, UK; he has successfully used his proficiency in the financial, regulatory, operational, educational and entrepreneurial skills to turn information and ideas into workable results and specialised solutions. Dr. Ajayi is a Director at Forum for Sustainable Ventures and is the Founder of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Business School.

Anita Amorighoye

Anita Amorighoye – Director

Anita is a seasoned banker with over 18 years’ experience spanning various areas of banking such as Commercial & Retail Banking, Treasury, Corporate Banking, Public Sector and Enterprise Risk Management.  During her career, she served as Team lead, Gender Empowerment (GEM) Unit Port Harcourt, Access Bank Plc. GEM is an initiative between Access Bank Plc and International Finance Corporation (IFC) set up for the empowerment of women-owned businesses in Nigeria. The programme allowed her to gain insight globally to the sensitivities and ways to support women-owned businesses, through the platform of various fora held in Australia and East Africa.  Until her co-founding Ayzer, she served in various capacities and projects at Skye Bank Plc to deliver banking expertise under distinct special purpose vehicles in partnership with the Rivers State Government to deliver various social impact schemes. Her last appointment in Skye Bank was as the Group Head overseeing Commercial and Retail banking activities in the Rivers State. Mrs. Amorighoye is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN), Chartered Banking Institute (CBI), UK and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). She holds a certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials from the Harvard Business School HBX programme, an MBA, Business Administration from the Bangor Business School and a BSc. in Mathematics and Computer Science. She holds other non-secular certifications.
